How much will you pay me for my broken gold jewelry?
Money and More pays up the to 90% of current spot prices for your unwanted
gold, silver and platinum. We also pay top dollar for diamonds.
What if my jewelry has diamonds in it?
We generally pay cash for diamonds over .15 carats each. If we cant
agree on a price for your diamonds, we will be more than happy to remove
them from your jewelry and give them back to you!
Why shouldn’t I take my gold to a Pawn Shop?
Money and More has the ability to offer much higher rates than most
area pawn shops. We want to provide a safe and secure location for customers
to sell their old jewelry, and avoid the pawn shop “stigma”.
How much am I going to get for my cell phone?
We generally pay around 50% of what we can resell your phone for. If
you are trading your phone in, we pay up to 60% of what we can resell
the phone for.
What else do you buy besides gold?
We will buy ANYTHING of value. Laptops, Computers, iPods, Cell Phones,
DVDs, Audio Equipment, Music Instruments, Recording Gear, Cameras, Collectibles,
Tools, Antiques, Some Vintage Clothing. If you want to know if an item

Is this a pawn shop?
Money and More is NOT a pawn shop. We are a licensed Precious
Metal Dealer and Second Hand Dealer through the City of Virginia Beach.
We can buy your items, but we do not make collateral loans. We do offer
unsecured, line of credit loans.
Do you have layaway?
We offer layaways on any item in our store for a 20% deposit. Layaways
are for 90 days.
Do you repair jewelry?
We do not do basic jewelry repairs (sizes, re-settings etc) but DO offer
replacement Diamonds. If you have lost diamonds in your rings, we can
replace them for cheaper than ANYONE in town.
Do you provide pre-paid cellular service?
We sell Pre-Paid Airtime for All Major Carriers. Page Plus, Simple Mobile,
ATT, Boost, T-Mobile, Net 10, Virgin etc.
What type of warranty do you offer on your used items?
We offer a 14 Day Warranty on all items in the store unless otherwise
noted.
I see you offer Rent-To-Own. What kind of things do you Rent?
We Rent-To-Own everything from Sofas, Dining Room Tables, Bedrooms to
Flat Screen TVs, Appliances, Computers, and Home Theaters. Approval
is fast and easy. All you need is your Lease and Paystub. We offer a
90 Days Same as Cash option on ALL rentals.
Do I need to make a down payment to rent something?
In most cases, No! Our mission is to approve you as fast as possible
and get your new merchandise in your home as soon as possible.
Do you do credit checks?
NO! We do not check credit. Everyone is approved here, with just a proof
of your income.
How soon do I get my furniture delivered?
We can usually get your new rental furniture in your house within 48
hours of your application being completed.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver all over the southside area, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake,
and Portsmouth.
What is a line of credit loan anyway?
A line of credit loan is very similar to a credit card. Your first payment
is not due for 30 days from your they day you open your account. You
have a 25 day grace period to pay off any new balance with NO interest.
You can re-borrow anytime you pay off your loan in full. We also increase
credit limits periodically so you can take additional advances when
needed.
Can you activate my phone for me?
Yes. We can activate any nTelos, Sprint, Verizon, Simple Mobile, or
Page Plus phone your purchase here.
What is an “Unlocked Cell Phone”?
“Unlocked” refers to a GSM (Sim Card) cell phone that has
had a SIM Subsidy Lock Removed. Unlocking your GSM phone enables you
to use either T-Mobile, ATT or other GSM carriers on your phone.
Do You Unlock Phones?
Yes we do. We can unlock Blackberry phones while you wait. Some phones
may have a 24 hour waiting period. Call today to see if your phone can
be unlocked.
Can you convert (flash) my phone to nTelos?
Chances are, YES! We can convert most Sprint and Verizon phones to work
completely on nTelos. Call 523-7368 for more details.
Can you flash my phone to Verizon or Sprint?
No. Verizon or Sprint does not accept “outside” ESN numbers,
so you can only use a Sprint phone on Sprint, and a Verizon phone on
Verizon.
What does flash mean anyway?
“Flashing” refers to re-programming a cellular phone to
work on a different carrier. We flash Sprint and Verizon Phones to the
nTelos network only.
